A call to arms to my brother and sister JUWC members. I am reinstating the Joe User Writing Club. There has been a lot of action going on here in regards to change, content, thrills and boredom. I have had a peep into the lives of some and my interest in others has been piqued. So, my challenge if you choose to accept it is Glass Houses. Write anything. Any genre will be greatly appreciated and I seriously think devoured by the readers. If it is great enough and I know they all will be. It may get featured. We need more featured writers, but to do that, we have to write.  (That was directed at myself. I feel I needed a good talking to, maybe a gentle spanking.)

  • Poems...Woo Hoo
  • Short Stories..Yee Haw
  • autobiography...juicy
  • biography..authorized or even a sizzling unauthorized (with an attorney on hand)..Fabuloso!
  • Lyrics...Melodic
  • Do it in Spanish...no me importa
  • Lose a couple of letters and write about an Ass House. (make sure to mark it adult content.Hehe)

Whatever you want. Write your version of a Glass House. Oh and for bonus points, throw in a monkey!

Now get on it. Don't think, don't edit...just write and let the reading rodeo begin!

If you don't mind put a link in the comments section here. I would be much obliged. I have a years worth of blogging to catch up on.

Now scat.

Roy, my boy...how I do love saying that. You sure have, You and a few other die hards have been holding down the fort, and it is much appreciated by me at least,so you are off the hook, but do it anyway.

At least throw in a monkey.

Wait...by "Glass House" do you mean a literal house made of glass?  Or is there some meaning to that phrase that I'm missing at the moment?  Or is just a free for all?  'Cause I wrote like two pieces last night.

I used Glass House as a prompt. It could be your idea of a glass house, your version of what the saying means.  Oh yeah, and don't forget the  monkey!

I need to go check out what you wrote. You have been a consistent writer here, thanks for that.

kind of like seeing how many ways and visions people can come up with using Glass house in their writing. Does that make sense?

Well...I don't know if consistent is the right word. It's pretty hit and miss with me. If I have an idea, I write it...if not...well, it's dry for awhile. It's been kickin' in a bit recently...so that's good.

Thanks for reading my stuff.

Yeah, I gotcha. Just throw glass house in there somewhere and see what pops out. I'll think it over...maybe throw a monkey or two in it.

Kelly,

I'm going to think about this and get back to you on it. Thanks for providing some inspiration and it is good to see JUWC back in the forums.

This isn't exactly a glass house kinda thing...just a slice of time piece...

I'll work on something.  Maybe I'll try to work it into my own autobiographical story that my blog has been full of lately.

Good job on bringing the JUWC back!  I've tried to keep the writing alive, but no dice.

Kelly, thanks for bringing JUWC back.

Woo Hoo Maso's in!

I think we needed something fun to do. I hope we can keep it going maybe once a week or something.  Let us know when you write something so we can find you.
